I am a psychologist with an integrative approach. My approach to psychology has always been based on a deep curiosity to know my inner world in order to be able to approach other people and the world. I have been working as an individual therapist in private practice since 2016. I use an integrative perspective, with a predominance of a Jungian psychodynamic approach, together with other tools from systemic-relational therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy and mindfulness.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo. In addition, I completed two master’s degrees in clinical psychotherapeutic practice: a Master in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Mensalus Institute and the Rey Juan Carlos University of Barcelona and a Master in General Health Psychology at the University of Barcelona.
Art, creative expression and the search for meaning are an important part of my personal life and have always been a way of understanding my studies and building my reality. Since 2016, I receive continuous training in a Jungian psychological approach, dream work and creative expression within the Centro Jung Santo Domingo, associated to the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). In addition, I have an initial diploma in art therapy from Metáfora Centre Estudis d’Artterapia in Barcelona. Since 2010, I have been training in mindfulness, meditation, breathing and yoga practices, which I now integrate into my psychotherapeutic practice. Moreover, since 2020, I receive complementary training in the Systemic-Relational approach by the International Centre for Psychotherapy Hestia.
