Welcome. My name is Marta Manzano and I am a Health and Forensic psychologist. I was born and raised in Andorra until I was 18 years old. After having done all my schooling in a French school, I decided to continue my university studies in Bcn.
Once I finished my degree, I specialized in criminal and forensic psychology at the University of Barcelona. After a complex period on an emotional level, I made the decision to embark on a journey 40,000 km away in which I put my whole being to the test. Upon returning with everything I had experienced, I got down to work and took charge of my professional life.
I began to collaborate as a volunteer in Psychologists without Borders, I continued training in Neurolinguistic Programming and I did the Master in Health Psychology.
I was practicing as a Psychological Expert where I combined my work as an expert and a psychotherapist, serving mainly women who had suffered mistreatment and sexual abuse.
Dealing directly with people made me take a turn, becoming exclusively interested in intervention at a psychotherapeutic level, taking special interest in what is related to trauma, attachment, and interpersonal relationships.
As a professional, I feel that I am the instrument by which I guide my clients. Therefore, the instrument must always be well-tuned, which means that I am constantly updating and at the same time doing personal work to offer the best of me.
