IPITIA International Psychological Institute
Centre specialising in OCD and Anxiety
We are a centre specialising in OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and Anxiety. IPITIA’s team of professionals offers effective treatments thanks to their training and the specific, unique methodology they apply.
Treatment at our specialised OCD centre combines therapeutic analysis and exercises following an Analytical-Experiential methodology (the name we have given it because of its eclecticism and the psychological integration it implies) to activate the person’s primary drives and focus on the viral challenges.
We do not limit our attention to symptom management and cognitive-behavioural control; our therapeutic approach is oriented towards a more adaptive and personalised modality, which delves into individual barriers and prevents the establishment of control patterns.
Our working methodology for the treatment of Anxiety Disorders has been researched and created to obtain good results. It consists of an approach exclusive to our specialised OCD and Anxiety Centre, called Analytical-Experiential.
By activating and focusing the impulses and vital instincts repressed due to fearful experiences, the normal regulation of the patient’s anxiety level is facilitated, leading to a gradual reduction of obsessive and compulsive symptoms.
Types of therapy
The therapeutic process in our centre specialising in OCD and Anxiety has been developed from the clinical evidence of years of therapeutic experience.
In it, we place greater emphasis from the outset on the experiential component of unblocking instinctual and instinctual elements, with the sole objective of generating an even more effective and time-efficient impact in terms of generating improvement.
A demanding but exciting process, to live as you wish, and not just for mere survival, in which with involvement and effort we will walk the only path towards a significant improvement of obsessive symptoms and anxiety.

How do I know if I should see a psychologist?
When you have a problem, no matter how serious it is, and you don’t know how to solve it, you should see someone to help you. That is the mission of IPITIA’s professionals. To help solve all those problems or situations that affect people and give them the guidelines to face them and eradicate them.
Will the psychologist help me with my problem?
IPITIA employs professionals with extensive experience in hundreds of cases, providing solutions to the problems that may arise. Sometimes we think that we have an extremely rare or serious problem and that is what IPITIA’s specialists are there for, and they have the experience to solve it.
Can I start an online therapy from day one?
IPITIA always recommends face-to-face therapy, but for those cases in which the patient is abroad or far from our centre, it is difficult to attend regularly. In these cases, we offer the option of online therapy from the first day or after an intensive individual or group face-to-face session.
What do I have to do to start therapy?
To start therapy you need to be willing and have the desire to solve the problem. Please contact us if you have any questions. We are at your disposal.
